Maine Country Antiques Estate Sale May 26 -28, 2022

Maine Country Antiques Estate Sale May 26 – May 28th, 2022- Limerick, ME

Due to logistics, all the contents of a late 18th century home in Buxton, Maine have been moved to my warehouse where we will be having an off-site estate sale. We’ve moved 8 loads of stuff to our tents and around our building at 181 Washington Street, Limerick, ME 04048. The house was loaded with hunting, fishing, camping, furniture and household items. There are lots of prints, antlers, tools, furniture, area rugs, new and used items, duck decoys, brand new sewing machine, chests, cabinets, bookcases, apple boxes and apple ladders. We’re still unboxing a majority of the items so we have very few photos of what’s actually here, but the few photos the we do have should give you a rough idea what’s going on. No early birds. See details and photos below;

Hollis Maine Estate Sale 799 Deer Wander Rd October 15, 16 & 17 2021

Hollis Maine Estate Sale 799 Deer Wander Rd October 15, 16 & 17 2021

Maine Country Antiques is proud to present a Great Southern Maine Estate Sale scheduled for October 15th, 16th and 17th, 2021 on 799 Deer Wander Road in Hollis Maine. It was the private collection of the late and great Matthew Edward Flaherty who collected cars, trucks, tools and everything else you could imagine. When I first walked through the property it felt like an American Pickers dream. Matthew worked for the Local Telephone company as a lineman, for SD Warren Paper company, Concord Coach, but I’ve been told that one of his favorite job was with Plummer’s Ace Hardware. He was a jack of all trades, and could fix anything. He loved helping people so it was a perfect fit. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing or anything in the woods, on the water or ice. He was also a retired master sargeant from the Air National Guard of 30 years. He collected and acquired items that have been passed down from generation to generation and he didn’t throw anything away. As I’ve been setting up for the sale, friends and family members that have dropped by for visits, jump out of their vehicles and yell, “It’s all good stuff!” which I was told was one of Matthew’s favorite sayings!
